Answer:

Suppose, the first number is x

∴ The second consecutive number is x+1

the total of these consecutive number x+(x+1)is 43

x+(x+1)=43

2x+1=43

2x=43−1

2x=42

x= 2/42

∴x=21

Therefore, the number is 21. and the second consecutive number x+1=21+1=22
