let one number be (x)
so the next consucutive number will be (x+1)
since the some of these to number's is 2179.

(x)+(x+1)=2179
2x+1=2179
2x=2179-1
x=2178/2
x=1089

Hence,larger number is 1089+1=1090 Ans.
