Let the 1st number be X and the 2and number be x+1
( according to the question, the numbers are consecutive integers)
ATQ:
x+(x+1)= 55
=> x+x+1=55
=> 2x=55-1
=> x=54/2
=>x= 27
Therefore,the 1st number=x=27
The 2nd number =x+1=27+1=28
The two consecutive integers are 27 and 28

Let, the consecutive numbers be x and x+1.
A.T.P,
x + x+1 = 55
=> 2x +1 = 55
=> 2x = 55 - 1
=> 2x = 54
=> x = 54/2
=> x = 27
∴ x = 27, x+1 = 27+1 = 28.
The two consecutive numbers are 27 and 28.
