Your question is wrong change it into sum of two consecutive numbers is 5 times of their difference.
A+(A+1)=5[(A+1)-A]/,
2A+1=5,
2A=4,
A=2
A+(A+1)=5[(A+1)-A]/,
2A+1=5,
