Solution:

let the first number be x

and the second number be x+5

now,

x+x+5= 55

2x+5=55

2x=55-5

2x= 50

x= 50/2= 25

hence the numbers are:

x= 25

and,

x+5= 25+5= 30

Checking:

25+30= 55

hope this helps! ☺✌❤

Solution:--

Let the number be X and X + 5.

Therefore, X + X + 5= 55

= 2X + 5= 55

= 2X = 55 - 5

= 2X = 50

= X = 50 ÷ 2

= X = 25

Therefore, the required numbers are X = 25, and X + 5 = 30

Therefore, The two numbers with a difference of 5 whose sum is 55 are 25 and 30.

Hope it helps.....
