Let First Number be n and Second Number be (n + 2) as it is Odd No. that's why d ( Common Difference ) between two alternative terms will be 2.
• According to Question Now ;
⇒ First No. + Second No. = 140
⇒ ( n ) + ( n + 2 ) = 140
⇒ 2n + 2 = 140
⇒ 2n = 140 - 2
⇒ 2n = 138
- Dividing Both term by 2
⇒ n = 69
◑ 1st No. = n = 69
◑ 2nd No. = ( n + 2 ) = ( 69 + 2 ) = 71
჻ Required Numbers are 69 and 71.
⋆ Odd Number : Those Numbers which are not completely Divisible by 2. Ex : 3, 9
⋆ Even Number : Those Numbers which are completely Divisible by 2. Ex : 4, 10
