➝ 2x + 2 = 56

➝ 2x = 56 -2

➝ 2x = 54

➝ x = $\frac{54}{2}$

➝ x = 27

(x + 2) = 26 + 2 = 29

The two numbers are 27 & 29 or (26,28) .
