and let the other consecutive number be X + 2

given sum of two number is 56 .

x +x + 2 =56

2x+2=56

2x=56-2

2x=54

x=54/2

x=27

therefore 1 consecutive odd number is 27 .

x=27 so, The Other consecutive odd number ,

=x+2=27+2=29

so, the two numbers is 27 and 29.
