The sum of two fractions is 12. If one of them is 19/4 Find the other.​

Answer:

sum of two fractions = 12

one of them = 19/4

Let the other fraction be x

then,

19/4 + x = 12

x = 12-19/4

x= (48-19)/4 = 29/4

Hence, the value of other fraction is 29/4 or 7.25
