The sum of two fractions is 53/12 if one of them is 23/10 find the other

23/ is one of the two fractions

so............

53/ 12 - 23/10 to get the second number

make it like fraction

L.C.M = 60

53/12 ×5/5=265/60

23/10×6/6= 138/60

now the fractions are like we are going to solve that

265/60 - 138/60 =127/60

therefore the 2nd number is 127/60
