Sum of two fractions  is = 61/6

One fraction is = 21/3

Let the other fraction be 'x'.

So our equation becomes,

21/3 + x = 61/6

x = 61/6 - 21/3

x =  \frac{61}{6} -\frac{21}{3}

x =  \frac{61 - 21*2}{6}

x =  \frac{61 - 42}{6}

x = other fraction = 19/6

ANSWER= 19/6

Let us verify -

21/3 + 19/6 = 61/6

\frac{21}{3}  + \frac{19}{6} = \frac{61}{6}

\frac{21 * 2 + 19}{6} = \frac{61}{6}

\frac{42+19}{6} = \frac{61}{6}

61/6  = 61/6

LHS = RHS    (Left hand side = Right hand side)

Hence verified......................
