Let,

According to the question,

• One integer = 18

So,

$\longmapsto x = - 23 - 18$

$\longmapsto x = - 41$

Hence,

The other integer is –41.

Verification :–

Substitute the both values in equation (1),

One integer + Other integer = –23

Here,

• One integer = 18
• Other integer = –41

$\longmapsto 18 + ( - 41) = - 23$

$\longmapsto18 - 41 = - 23$

$\longmapsto - 23 = - 23$
