The sum of two natural number is 121 if the sum of given number and the four times the smaller is equal to or greater than 271 find all the possible values of the smaller number

Let the two numbers be x and y, with x being the smaller number.

Given, x + y = 121 ... (i) and

x + 4y ≥ 271 ... (ii)

In equation (i), we can get the value of x as 121 - y. Substituting this value in the equation (ii), we get 121 - y + 4y ≥ 271

Solving this, we get 3y ≥ 150 --> y ≥ 50
