the sum of two no. is 2400. if 4/5 of one no. is equal to 2/5 of other. find the no.

ATGC ,

second number be (2400 - n ) 

ATQ 

(4/5)n = 2/5(2400 - n ) 

4n/5   = 4800/5 - 2n/5
 
6n/5   = 4800/5 

6n      = 4800 

n        = 800
 
2400 - n = 1600 

So two numbers are 800 and 1600
