= x+y = 50...................(1)
= x^2 -y^2 = 720.........(2)
in eq(1)
= x= 50-y
x's value put in eq(2)
= (50-y)^2 -y^2 = 720
= 2500+y^2-100y -y^2 = 720
= -100y = 720-2500
= -y = - 1780/100
= y = 17.80
y's value put in eq(1)
x+17.80 = 50
x= 50-17.80
x= 32.2
(x,y) = (32.2, 17.8) ans
