(x+y)(x-y)=25600
1000(x-y)=25600
x-y=25600÷1000
x-y=256/10=25.6----------1
x+y=1000--------2
x=1000-y
1000-y-y=25.6
1000-2y=25.6
1000-25.6=2y
974.4/2=y
y=467.2
x=1000-467.2
=532.8
