Answer:

Numbers are 4,7

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that sum of numbers is 11.

assume as, first number is x .

but according to problem , the second number is 3 more than first . so , second number is x+3.

the sum of two numbers is 11

i.e , x + x + 3 = 11

2x + 3 = 11

send +3 to RHS it changes into -3.

2x = 11-3

2x = 8

÷2 on both sides .

x = 4.

firstly number = x = 4.

second number = x+3 = 4+3 = 7.
