The sum of two number is -16. If one of them is -53, find the other

Hey mate here's your answer.....

Let the number be x.

-53 + x = -16

x = -16 + 53

x = 37

So 37 should be added to -53 to get - 16.

◆ Let numbers be X & Y

So, According to yours question;

X + Y = -16

◆If, X = -53

Then;

-53 + Y = -16

=> Y = -16 + 53

=> Y = 37

★ So, the other number is 37 ★
