We can easily find the two numbers by using the following procedure.

As

Sum of two number = 30

LCM of two numbers = 36

So, HCF of two numbers = 6 (comman multiple)

Let the two numbers be 6x and 6y.

Since,

Sum = 30

6x + 6y = 30

6(x+y) = 30

x+y = 5

LCM = 36

6xy = 36

xy = 6

So, x = 2 and y = 3

On putting the values we get,

6x = 6*2 = 12

6y = 6*3 = 18

Hence, The two numbers are 12 and 18.
