2a-3b=12


now solving both equation
2(51-b)-3b=12
or -2b-3b=- 90
&b=18
hence a=33

Let numbers are x and (51 - x)

According to the question,

2x - 3(51 - x) = 12

2x - 153 + 3x = 12

5x = 12 + 153

5x = 165

$x = \frac{165}{5} \\ \\ x = 33$

Numbers are

x = 33
(51 - x) = 51 - 33 = 18
