let the no. be x. then the other one will be 2/3x

=> 2/3x+ x= 75
=> 2 x/3 + 3x/3 = 75
=> 5x/3 = 75
=> 5x= 225
=> x= 25
hence ; putting the value we get x = 25 and 2/3x= 2/3× 25= 50/3
