▪︎ Now put the value of 'x' from eq.(2) in eq.(1) –

=> (⅔) y + y = 75

=> (5y)/3 = 75

=> y = (75 × 3)/(5)

=> y = (15) × (3)

=> y = 45

▪︎ Now Using eq.(1) –

=> x + 45 = 75

=> x = 75 - 45

=> x = 30

▪︎ Hence , The numbers are 45 and 30.
