the sum of two number is 80 and the greater number exeeds twice the smaller by 11 . find the number.

then other number be x+11.

given,

x+x+11= 80

2x + 11 = 80

2x= 80-11

2x= 69

x= 69÷2

x=34.5

x+11= 34.5+11
