Answer:

Given :

\textsf{Sum of two numbers = 105}

\textsf{Their difference = 39}

To find :

\textsf{The numbers which makes the sum of 105}

Concept :

Let the numbers be x .

So , their difference is 39 . And the sum is 105 .

After taking all these values the equation will like this -:

\sf{\boxed{x+x+39=105}}

Solution :

\large\sf{\implies{x+x+39=105}}

\large\sf{\implies{2x+39=105}}

\large\sf{\implies{2x=105-39}}

\large\sf{\implies{2x=66}}

\large\sf{\implies{x=\dfrac{66}{2}}}

\large\sf{\implies{x=33}}

So , the smaller number is 33 .

To find the other number do sum of smaller number with 39 . Because their difference is 39 .

\large\sf{\implies{Other\:number=33+39}}

\large\sf{\implies{Other\:number=72}}

So , the larger or other number is 72 .

Verification :

To verify the answer do sum of both the number if the answer will come 105 . Then , the answer will be get verified.

\large\sf{:\implies{33+72}}

\large\sf{:\implies{105}}

So , the answer has came 105 .

Hence , the answer is verified .
