The smaller number is 42 and the larger number is 63.

Given:

The sum of two numbers is 105.

Thrice of the smaller number equals twice of greater number.

Explanation

Let the smaller number be 'X'. and,

the larger number be 'Y'.

According to problem,

X+Y=105

and

3X=2Y

X=\frac{2Y}{3}

Substituting the value of X,

\frac{2Y}{3} +Y=105

Solving this, the value of Y comes out to be,

Y=63

Substitute the value of Y in equation and solving for X,

X=105-63\\X=42

Hence, the value of smaller and large number are 42 and 63 respectively.
