Hello!!
___________________________________________________
let the number be, x and y.
so,
x+y = 1207....(1)
x-y= 895,
so, x= (895+y)
(895+y) + y = 1207( Putting value of x in (1).
so, 895+ 2y= 1207..
2y= 1207-895..
so , 2y= 312
y= 156.
x= 895+y..( Putting value of y in x)
x= 895+ 156= 1,051
so, y= 156
x= 1051

Let the two numbers are x and y
so according to the question we have,
x+y=1207 ...............(equation no. 1)
x-y=895 .................(equation no. 2)
by adding equation (1) and (2) we get,
2x=2102
or , x=2102÷2=1051
by substraction equation (1) and (2) we get,
2y=312
or, y=312÷2=156
thus the two numbers are
x=1051 and y=156
