Answer:

Here is your answer

Let the first no. be x and let the second no. be y

According to question

X+y=13

X=13-y.... 1

Also

X-y=7

X=7+y..... 2

From 1 and 2

13-y = 7+y

13= 7+y+y

13= 7 + 2y

13- 7 = 2y

6=2y

Y=3

Putting value of y=3 in 1

X = 7+ y

X= 7+3

X = 10 and Y = 3 Ans.

\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\;to\;the\;Questions}}}}

Given,

\textbf{\underline{Sum\;of\;two\;number\;is\;13}}

\textbf{\underline{Difference\;is\;7}}

Assume

Number be x and y respectively

So,

x + y = 13 ....... (1)

x - y = 7 ........... (2)

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{Adding\;both\;Equation :-}}}}

x + y + (x - y) = 13 + 7

x + y + x - y = 13 + 7

2x = 13 + 7

2x = 20

\rm \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:x=\dfrac{\cancel{20}}{\cancel{2}}

x = 10

Hence,

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{First\;number= 10}}}}

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{Second\;number:-}}}}

x + y = 13

10 + y = 13

y = 13 - 10

y = 3

Therefore,

\huge{\boxed{\sf\:{First\;number = 10\;and\;Second\;number = 3}}}
