The sum of two numbers is 135 and they are in the ratio of 4:5 .Find the numbers.

Let the common ratio be x.
Therefore the 2 numbers are 4x and 5x..
Acc to problem;
Eq will be = 4x +5x = 135;
9x = 135;
X = 15;

Therefore the 2 numbers are
4x = 4*15 =60
& 5x = 5 *15 = 75:
