The sum of two numbers is 15 amd their difference is 3.

Here's Your Answer..!!

Let the numbers be x and y.

x + y = 15.......(1)

x - y = 3........(2)


Now, add (1) and (2)-

x + y = 15
x - y = 3

2x = 18
x = 9


Now, putting the value of x = 9 in (1)-

x + y = 15
9 + y = 15

Hence,
y = 15 - 9
y = 6

Therefore,
x  = 9
y = 6
