SUPPOSE X AND Y ARE TWO NUMBERS.

THE SUM OF TWO NUMBERS IS 20.

X + Y = 20 …………..(1)

AND THEIR DIFFERENCE IS = 4

X- Y = 4 ………………(2)

X+ Y = 20

X- Y = 4

BY SOLVING ABOVE EQUATIONS, WE GET

X = 12 AND Y = 8

GREATER NUMBER IS 12
