The sum of two numbers is 215.If the ratio is 2:3, find the larger number?

Answer:

we will take the no.s as 2x and 3x

so 2x +3x = 215

5x = 215

so x = 215/5

= 43

so bigger no. is 3 x 43 =129

smaller no. is 86
