Given :-

• Difference between second & first number = 14

Find :-

Explanantion

Let,

• First Number = x
• Second Number = y

According to question,

Case 1.

==> x + y = 24_____________(1)

Case 2.

==> y - x = 14_____________(2)

Now, add equ(1) & equ(2)

==> 2y = 38

==> y = 38/2

==> y = 19

Keep in equ(1)

==> x + 19 = 24

==> x = 24 - 19

==> x = 5

• Second Number will be y = 19
