Let the two numbers be ‘X’ and ‘Y’ …

Then ,

X+Y =25 and X-Y=5 …

Simply adding the equations (Left hand variables with left hand and right hand number with right hand ) as ;

X+Y+X-Y =25+5

or 2X=30 Since two times of X is 30 , X should be 15 and from X+Y=25 .. We get 10 added with 15 as 25 .So Y should be 10 .

So the two numbers are 15 and 10
