I think your question is wrong ...the difference of the square is 125

If it like this..

Given

Sum=25

Difference of the squares of the number =125

Call the two numbers x and (25 - x)

So (25 - x)^2 - x^2 = 125

625 - 50x + x^2 - x^2 = 125

50x = 500 so x = 10 and the numbers are 10 and 15.

Difference is 5
