from (l) equation ________

x=25-y

what is the value of x in equation (ll)

xy=126

(25-y)y = 126

25y-y^2 = 126

y^2-25y+126 = 0

y^2 -18y-7y+126 = 0

y(y-18)-7(y-18) =0

(y-18)(y-7) =0

y-18=0

y=18

or

y-7=0

y=7

the value of x and y is 18 and 7.
