I think the numbers are 20 and 5.
When we add them 20+5 the answer is 25.
When we subtract 20-5 the answer is 15

x + y = 25

x - y = 15

By adding the 2 equations

x + y + x - y = 15 + 25

2x= 40

x = 20

y = 5
