X+Y=25--------------(1)
X-Y=3------------------(2)
SUBTRACTING (1)AND(2), WE GET:
2X=22,
X=22÷2,
X=11--------------(3)
NOW SUBSTITUTING(3) IN (1), WE GET:
11+Y=25
Y=25-11
Y=14.

THEREFORE, THE TWO NUMBERS ARE 11 AND 14

Let the number be x and y

Now ATQ,

Sum of 2 numbers

x + y = 25 \:  \:  - (1)

Difference of 2 numbers

x - y = 3

 =  > x = 3 + y \:  \:  - (2)

From -(1) and -(2)

x + y = 25

Substituting the value of x from-(2)

3 + y + y  = 25

 =  > 3 + 2y = 25

 =  > 2y = 25 - 3

 =  > 2y = 22

 =  > y =  \frac{22}{2}

 =  > y = 11 \:  \: ans

As, we know that

x = 3 + y

 =  > x = 3 + 11

 =  > x = 14 \:  \:  \: ans
