Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two numbers be x and y, where x >y.

According to first condition:

x + y = 36...... (1)

According to second condition:

(By formula: Dividend= divisor x quotient + remainder)

x =2y+3..........(2)

From equations (1) & (2), we find:

2y+3 +y = 36

3y = 36-3

3y = 33

y= \frac{33}{3}\\</p><p>y = 11\\</p><p>\implies x = 2\times 11+3\\</p><p>\implies x = 22+3\\</p><p>\implies x = 25

Thus, the two numbers are 11 and 25.
