Let numbers be x and y

so, x + y = 37 ----------------------------(1)

and, xy = 330

=> (x+y)^2 = 37^2

 x^2 + y^2 + 2xy = 1369

 x^2 + y^2 = 1369 - 660

x^2 + y ^2 = 709

so, (x-y)^2 = 709 - 660

     x-y = 7 -------------------------------(2)

solving (1) and (2)

x = 22 and y = 15

Answer:

let the 2 numbers be x and y

Step-by-step explanation:

sum = x+y = 37

product = x*y = 330

difference = x-y = ?

we know that; (x-y)^2 = (x+y)^2 -4*x*y

                                = (37*37) - (4*330)

                                = 1369 - 1320

                                = 49

(x-y)^2 = 49

(x-y) = +7 or -7

venkumahanti17it: sorry for the incomplete of the problem ,
venkumahanti17it: on solving the sum and difference we get the values of x and y
