let the numbers are a and b

then....

a+b=45-------1

a-b=45×1/9

a-b=5--------2

adding equation 1 and 2

2a=45+5=50

a=25

now subtracting equation 1 and 2

2b=45-5=40

b=20

so the LCM of the numbers 20 and 25
20=5×4

25=5×5

Lcm=5×5×4=100
