The sum of two numbers is 456780.If one of number is 25020 greater than the other number,what is the smaller number?

Let the first no. be x

Then= x+(x+25020)= 456780

= x+x+25020

= 2x + 25020 = 456780

= 2x = 456780 - 25020

2x = 431760

x = 215880.
