also x-y=4___(2)
By elimination method (adding 1and 2)
=X+y=46
+x-y=4
=2x=50
=X=25
also x-y=4
-y=4-25

According to the second condition:
X-Y=4 -----------(ii)
ADDING (i) and (ii)
X+Y=46

Substituting (iii) in (i)
(25)+Y=46
Y= 46 - 25
Y= 21
