To find :

• The two numbers

Solution :

Let us assume the two numbers as 2x and 3x.

• First number = 2x
• Second number = 3x

According to the question,

→ First number + Second number = 50

→ 2x + 3x = 50

→ 5x = 50

→ x = 50 ÷ 5

→ x = 10

→ The value of x = 10

Substitute the value of x in the number which we've assumed :-

→ First number = 2x

→ First number = 2(10)

→ First number = 20

→ Second number = 3x

→ Second number = 3(10)

→ Second number = 30

Therefore, the two numbers are 20 and 30.
