Let the numbers be a & b.

➠ According to the question _____⋆⋆

___ a + b = 50.......... (1)

___ a - b = 20 ............(2)

Now, solve both equations ___

↦a + b = 50

↦ a - b = 20

____________

↦2 a = 70

↦ a = 35

Put the value of x in eq ( 1)

a + b = 50

⟹ b = 15

Hence,

Difference between their cubes __

a^3 - b^3

= (35)^3 -(15)^3

= 39500
