Given :-

  • The sum of two numbers is 51 the larger number is 19 more than the smaller number

 \\

To Find :-

  • Numbers

 \\

Solution :-

⟼ Let the First Number be x

⟼ Then Second Number will be x + 19

According to the Question :

➞ Sum of Numbers = 51

➞ x + x + 19 = 51

➞ x + x = 51 - 19

➞ x + x = 32

➞ 2x = 32

➞ x = 32 / 2

➞ x = 16

________________

Therefore :

  • First Number = x = 16
  • Second Number = x + 19 = 16 + 19 = 35
