Suppose two numbers are X (big) and Y (small)

Then X + Y = 54...1)

If 60 added to smaller number then

X + (Y+60) = 2X

So, X - Y = 60....2)

Now solving eq 1) and 2)

2X = 114

X = 57

Put value of X into eq 1)

We get Y = - 3

So, big value is 57 and small value is - 3.
