Answer:
Let's assume the numbers to be x and y(x>y)
x + y = 60
or x = 60 - y .....(i)
Again,
3y - x = 12
or 3y - (60 - y) = 12 {from equation (i)}
or 3y - 60 + y =12
or 2y = 12 + 60
or y = 72/2
or y = 36
Putting the value of y in equation (i)
x = 60 - y
or x = 60 - 36
or x = 24
So, the two numbers are 24, 36..

Hey! Ur annswr is:
Let smaller number be X and larger number be Y.
Given that : Three time's the smaller number = 2 Times the larger number.
3X = 2Y.
X = (2Y/3)
Sum of larger and smaller number = 60
X + Y = 60
2Y/3 + Y = 60
2Y + 3Y = 60 × 3
5Y = 60×3
Y = (60×3/5)
Y = 12×3 = 36.
Putting the value of Y in,
X = (2Y/3) = 2 × 36/3 = 24.
Larger number = Y = 36.
and,
Smaller number = X = 24
HOPE THIS MAKES UR DAY BETTER!
