Heya !!

Let smaller number be X and larger number be Y.

Given that : Three time's the smaller number = 2 Times the larger number.

3X = 2Y.

X = (2Y/3)

Sum of larger and smaller number = 60

X + Y = 60

2Y/3 + Y = 60

2Y + 3Y = 60 × 3

5Y = 60×3

Y = (60×3/5)

Y = 12×3 = 36.

Putting the value of Y in,

X = (2Y/3) = 2 × 36/3 = 24.

Larger number = Y = 36.

and,

Smaller number = X = 24.

HEY MISS..!!!

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

________________________

♠️ Let the larger number be ( x )

♠️ Let the smaller number be ( y )

✔️ Sum of two numbers is 60 , i.e

⏺️ x + y = 60 _________( 1 )

✔️ Three time of smaller number is equal to two times of larger number , i.e

⏺️3 y = 2 x

=> 2 x - 3 y = 0 __________( 2 )

▶️ Now , from Eqn ( 1 )

=> x + y = 60

=> ( x = 60 - y )

✔️ Now putting the value of x in Eqn ( 2 )

=> 2 x - 3 y = 0

=> 2 ( 60 - y ) - 3 y = 0

=> 120 - 2 y - 3 y = 0

=> 120 - 5 y = 0

=> 5 y = 120

=> y = 120 / 5

=> [ y = 24 ]✔️✔️

▶️Now , putting the value of y in Eqn ( 1 )

=> x + y = 60

=> x + 24 = 60

=> x = 60 - 24

=> [ x = 36 ] ✔️✔️

♠️ So grater number is 36 and smaller number is 24 .

HOPE HELPED..

JAI HIND..
