now adding 1 and 2 we get

2x = 752

x= 376

now putting this in 1 , we get ,

376+y = 620

y = 244

Now,

suppose the nos. be x and y.

x+y = 620 ---------(1)

x-y = 132 ----------(2)


(1) + (2)


x+x+y-y = 620+132

2x = 752

x = 752/2

x = 376


Substitute x value in equ. (1)

x+y = 620

376+y = 620

y = 620-376

y = 244



x = 376 , y = 244


Therefore, the nos. are 376 and 244.
