Hi ,

Let x , ( 90 - x ) two numbers ,

According to the problem given ,

Greater number exceeds twice the

smaller by 15

x - 2( 90 - x ) = 15

x - 180 + 2x = 15

3x = 15 + 180

3x = 195

x = 195/3

x = 65

Therefore ,

Required two numbers are ,

Greater number = x = 65

Smaller number = 90 - x

= 90 - 65

= 25
